Who is Sephiroth?

Everyone knows who Sephiroth is. What? You say you have no idea who he is? Oh, man. Where have you been?

Sephiroth is this enigmatic green-eyed, silver-hair man from Final Fantasy VII. He ranked as a General in ShinRa's army of SOLDIERs, and waves a 7-feet Masamune at offensive peeps. Known as a stoic and efficient killing machine, he is ShinRa's pride and joy, for obvious reasons. A bright future? Not really....

This is a club for Sephiroth lovers, and Sephiroth only, not some other silver haired guy or Zack or Cloud or the whole Advent Children thingy. Sure, fanart may include other characters, but the whole focus will be on our one-winged-angel only.

Aerith awoke to the smell of breakfast being cooked. Stumbling through her morning routine, the last Cetra moved robotically until she finally managed to wake herself up enough to greet the rest of the world.

Her first surprise of the day as she left her bedroom, however, was to see her step-mother coming out of her own room. Elmyra, too, seemed to be surprised to see Aerith. For a minute, the two Gainsborough women stared at each other with questioning looks, confused as to who would be cooking the morning meal.

The smell of petrichor was a beautiful and inviting thing that she found to be slipping through the cracks of her open window; the lack of light being yet another beautiful thing. It was a Sunday, and it had rained the night before. If Fuu had actually decided to look out her window she would have seen the wet pavement of her driveway; puddles strewn over the dips and holes. Instead, Fuu turned over in her cocoon of warm blankets and pulled herself deeper into the folds.

There’s a wall built in the middle of a park that’s slowly crumbling into nothing. The bricks have faded in color and chunks of the wall continue to fall out every day. They have a man who cleans it up every day, around 4 o’clock on the dot. It isn’t that tall, or that long, but for a very long time it’s been sitting there.

A piece of art and history that the big guys never wanted to tear down, and in a sense, a piece of mystery. There was always a rumor that floated around the wall of twelve meters length and six feet high, that some old man put the wall here on purpose. They faced each other.
Black and red.
Blade and gun.
SOLDIER and Turk.
Sephiroth held Masamune in a two-handed grip at his shoulder, point-forward. Vincent kept Cerberus trained on a point between silver-white forelocks.
The sky was a black cloak above them, and they stood in a ring of fire-- which had once been a town square.
Now it was littered with corpses: men, women, children. A few still groaned where they lay-- Sephiroth having chosen a slower, more painful end for them. Smoke boiled up from the buildings, rank with the smell of burning flesh.

I have some questions. OK, I was a "member" (watcher) of SephirothRulez since before DA Groups started, and I'm totally out of the loop on how DA Groups works...

That said, I'm listed as a Watcher but not as a Member (I guess people had to make the transition manually when DA Groups came into effect?), and I'd like to become a proper member.

When I tried to click on "Join," there was a dropdown asking me to select either "Members" or "Contributors." -- I don't know what the correct choice is, so I haven't gone through with the Join process yet.

Then again, a few of my works have already been submitted/requested/featured by other members into this Group. For example: [link] among others. So, with this in mind, does that affect whether I should choose Member or Contributor in the Join popup?

I hope that all made sense, if not, just ask. I really have no idea how this all works. :S
